Student Tara Doehrman (NE Indiana area) EPM Rehab!

Before pic is not the horse she worked on, they were searching to see what they could do to help the horse to stay up, this is what they had to do-she didn’t think it would be right to take a pic of the horse in that condition…but you can see from the other pics the condition of the horse and how she is now 🙂

These were some of the toughest horses to Rehab, but we got it done! A horse hit by a car, my personal case(Dr Mark Haverkos in the last pic, even he was shocked with her progress!) A students Rehab a poor girl was going to be put down, but with Massage/farrier and groundwork, she came back strong and sound! And a Freisian gelding who had been injured on the left hind and had serious atrophy.

KIM FRIER

Hi Beverly,
Here are links to Jet’s before and after videos. Little history on his condition as well.  He has always had head issues, chiro was always putting him back in on his neck and poll area, but it would never last. We could get maybe one or two runs out of him and he would be back to being sore again. When he was good he was great. In 2012 he was the 11th place qualifier at the NBHA Great Lake Nationals race out of 1500 runs that weekend.  He was placing at all the big stuff in the top 5, and I’m taking with 800-900 runners…then it all went down hill. He started hitting barrels 6-7 times out of 10 runs, chiro couldn’t keep him aligned so suggested we give him time off. We turned him out end of 2012 and  didn’t really run very much in 2013 and the runs he did make were back in the 2D or 3D when he had been a solid 1D horse every out.  We tried everything we could think of, nothing helped. He started blowing his 1st barrel (which was his best barrel from the time he was a colt) and he just flat wouldn’t fire. Time off helped, so we would turn him out and just light ride him then bring him back for one or two runs and turn him out again. Then we found Kim. She has worked on him a total of three times so far and done wonders. He even eats better now! Before he was really dropping the feed, even with regular dental work, and he would chomp on the bit constantly, to the point we had to put a cavesson  on him, which we hated to do. Now, all of that is gone! And he’s running with the best of them. Still a little stiff, but so much better than before and he will continue to get worked on from here on out.  This weekend there was a lady there who has qualified for the NFR multiple times and he clocked just a tad behind her. She was a 14.5 and was a 14.7. 11th place out of 347 people that day, with a lot of top top horses running. Kim had worked on him three times prior to that run.  The first run I’ll post is a local jackpot, same arena only about a month or so ago. Timer was same in both patterns although this past weekend had holding pens and an alleyway the other was set up for a rodeo time in the first one was a 15.8. Time in the second one was a 14.7.

EMMA ROSE CEDER

Emma was in the middle of moving from SC to Maine when she came to my class-literally-on her way to Maine with her mom. She plans on going back to SC to work on her friends horses once they get enough people-but until then, she walked her friend (barn manager)thru an easy massage for this horse that was lame-they only worked on a section of the horse-not even the entire horse-and already a huge difference.  Imagine what a full body massage could do for this horse and yours!

MORE FROM TRACI IN WAKEMAN OHIO!

Student Traci Lynn from Wakeman, OH-recent grad doing great work!
*********YOU TOO CAN LEARN THIS!******
Appy with advanced navicular… when I finished with his 3rd massage on Thursday, he had no heat at all in either front hooves. The owner of the barn asked me and my friend if I did magic lol. I said yes! Please look at these pics. I know there is more to be done with him, but the tension in his body as a whole has decreased by 75%, and of course the compensating areas will need managed, but my friend and this horse are so happy. he is a different horse

Her ‘Yellow horse’ was having problems, and as you can see in the first ‘prior to massage’ pic, the problem was in the left shoulder and neck. Notice after just ONE MASSAGE how much better the shoulder looks and the horse is holding the head straighter!

TRACI LYNN NE OHIO – MARCH 2014 CLASS

These are Zeke’s “Before” and “13 Day Later” Pictures. I am amazed at the progress he has made in a very short time in response to deep tissue massage and reiki – and I haven’t even been able to begin Biomechanics yet due to rain; I am so excited to see where he will be in another month and after I have the chiropractor out. I’m so thankful for my training at Midwest Natural Healing for Animals
